M&A Journey Workshop.

“Andrea draws from a long and extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. The workshop we had with him was informing, enriching and challenging. I believe it was a critical step that helped us create a framework using a variety of tools to come to more clarity regarding our decision as to which companies to acquire or not to move on with the process.

Deciding which company to acquire can be an emotional decision. This workshop helped us avoid potential bad fits and only pursue companies with the best possible fit strategically and culturally.”

Background.

Successful companies, at some point in their path to continuous growth, decide to scale through mergers and acquisitions, in addition to pursuing their organic development.

Consolidating players in an industry is key to gaining market share, improving efficiency, gaining new capabilities and learning about adjacent markets, without having to go through the painful and lengthy process of building every single function from scratch.

The Challenge.

Often acquisition opportunities present themselves before a company has the time to define and structure its M&A strategy, and while all internal functions are already stretched and totally focused on organic growth.

But this is not an excuse to make decisions in isolation, and this is an area where often common sense doesn't work, and the risks are much larger than the investment about to be made. This is where this workshop comes in.
